Can one consider themself a PHP/MySQL Web App Developer after this course and site this certificate as their qualification? What are your recomemndations for a student who's finished this course i.e what else must I learn besides mastering OOP? (this is if one wants to work for

@Alex
Thank you for making the effort..
Internet Explorer gave me so many issues that I cannot even begin to describe (nothing works there!!!) so the only solution I saw was to blacklist it. My Google Analytics shows only 7 users visited using IE out of 800 users most use Chrome, Firefox and Safari..
Thank you again I am working on the contact page on Chrome. And does anyone know how I

@ bigron11-> I normally use the JQuery library together with css and html to give my app the good looks, I don't care who put its syntax together but what I know is I understand the syntax and I can make it do exactly what I need.
That said!!! What is more important about the App above are its functionalities that I wrote in PHP/MySQL which are the brains, heart and kidneys of that App

Hi Warren
If you evaluating to figure out if a variable has been initiated (not empty) or contains a value equal to 1, you could do it in two ways.
OPT 1 (like the way you wrote your code above)
Language: PHP$Kitten_image = 0;
if($Kitten_image == 1){
echo "We have a kitty in here";
} else {
echo "Would you believe it, there are no kittens here.

A session() is exactly as MAC explained and it makes sure that a user can be remembered across different web pages. Its simply the time spent at a particular site. You can store values with sessions, and these values will be available to all pages on that particular site. However when you close your browser, the sessions will end.

Language: PHP# I am going to create/define a Person class bellow
class Person{

public $firstname;

Going through your code it quickly be came clear that you're adding names into a wrong array() "$Full_name" instead of the correct array() "$full_name". Array names are case sensitive bud!! Also add a space between "print" and "Key=........" and you have one too many double quotes (dont put variables in double quotes as doing so wi

That's an interesting observation but if you want the "$seasons" array's output to have a bit of meaning to you, just add an HTML "<br>" tag at the end of your "print" statement.Language: PHP<?php
$seasons = array("Autumn", "Winter", "Spring", "Summer");
$array_count = c

Dualboot is not a bad idea but as you know, in that dual boot MS Windows will be the dominant OS meaning it will write its boot manager in the hdd's MBR (Master Boot Records). The default OS will be MS Windows and then You'd have all the rest bellow unless you tweak the boot manager is windows this will be the case. SO MY problem is this: MS Windows is an awesome OS but its

If you're writing a script that creates HTML on the fly, it makes logical sence to place the <pre></pre> tags on the section of your script that outputs the HTML i.e echo/print. So I think that's the reason why Rush used the tags on his echo/print function.
Language: PHP<?PHP #Placing the HTML <pre></pre> tags here will result in an error as this sectio

The same function can be done in JavaScript, Observe:
****However I must say PHP's aproach is cleaner, notice the "Math.floor()" function that rounds the result of "Math.random()" to one digit..i.e without the "Math.floor()" outputs something like this: 1.065623, 2.04698 e.t.c
Language: Javascriptvar $myNumber = Math.floor((Math.random()*6)
