absolutely hope so too!
Unisa students start out with the idea that they need to go at it alone. They never seem to let go of that idea, even at Postgraduate level.
some of them will visit the subject page only when they are in need of answers, as opposed
to visiting it each day to find more info and chat, like they would have experienced at a non-distance institution.

there is always the unisa irc channel on #shadowfire, we could always create one for online study groups as well

We need to advertise that channel more - I am keen on IRC, use it for many contacts, but the unisa one is very slow.
I am sure more peeps would use it if they knew about it.

I'm only doing 417 for this year from the information systems modules. My other subjects are all commercial. I'm keen to be part of a study group, even if it's online only.
