Hi Mac,
I just want to confirm what you want us to do by "adding 5 other vehicle related characteristics". Do you mean we have to add 5 more models (meaning new objects), or do we just have to add 5 more properties to the same model iX35?
Thanks

Hallo Mac,
Maybe it is an irrelevant question.I know we need to attach our Portfolio code as part of the zipped folder. But do we also need to add the code to the textfile as described in the step2 of the portfolio submission procedure?
Just want to confirm that nothing needs to be submitted to MyUnisa?
Thank you

Hallo,
It seems as if the freeoda server are far more case sensitive than our local server. Especially when referring to file names.
Maybe this can save you a lot of hassle. I spent hours before I figured this out. Good luck!

Thank you,
I sorted out all my errors. It seems as if the freeoda server are far more case sensitive than our local server.
Especially when referring to file names. This was the reason for the redirection to page-not-found.html

Hallo, I also picked up problems during logon stage now that the website is live on the server. Did you solve your problem and how? I also picked up problems with variables being send to the next page. It worked well local, but not live on the server.

Hallo,
I have exported my database on my local computer. It creates then a filename.sql. Then I created a database with freeaoda's names. Then I logged into that database by using the numbers that was generated automatically during the database creation process. Then I open the empty database and import new tables from my filename.sql. It succesfully imported my tables with the old name

Thank you Mac,
But when I add the suggested inverted commas I get an error reply and my username displayed in the textbox inside inverted commas. For example: 'admin'. If I leave the textbox blank, I get an error reply with '' inside the textbox. I also tried to bypass the test for username and password by only use: $SQL = "SELECT * FROM login"; On my local compu

My portfolio operates as planned on my local computer. I loaded all the php files and import the database tables correctly. I have checked if all the files came accross - php files and SQL tables. When accessing it via the URL on the web, the part where no login is need works correctly. When I try to login with incorrect username it displays error message as programmed. BUT when I login

Hallo,
It was spaces and commas that was the problem, especially at the end of the line. Use backspaces at the beginning of a next line in the same statement. Do a print preview and carefully examine.
Good luck

Hi,
I sent a string with GET from an HTML form page to a separate PHP file. The player-id came accross correctly(by looking at the URL). When I want to use its values to update the record in the table, it does not complain, but the the update is ignored. I also picked up, by echoeing the player-id that it add a "1" to the value. For example player_id = 4 came across via the URL but d
