This section was probably the most understable of the lot, although chapter 5 of the textbook gave a really good break down. the form element
<form action=""xxxx.php "method= "post">
</form>
the input element: <input type="text" name="name"
to display name typed: <? echo $_post ['name']';
to submit INPUT: <i

Just completed this section, may have to revert to explore more logical operators in examples. Chapter 3 in the textbook is very helpful.

Just finished this section. Going at a really snail-pace, but its done. chapter 2 of the text book is quiet helpful in giving detailed explainations on how to to use if/else statements.

if ($temperature>= 30) echo "wear you hat, and stay away from beer!";

Hi, i have completed section 1. i use EasyPHP 12.1 and good old classic notepad++.
is anyone using EasyPHP instead of xampp? I found xampp installation a bit tough. "port 80" problem again.
I saved my script as phptest.php under portable files http://127.0.0.1:8080/my%20portable%20files/ or http://127.0.0.1/index of/my portable files instead of http://127.0.0.1/index.php.

Hey i have received a package containing a disk and an information sheet. Do you guys know if there's more to follow?
I am now installing camp instead of PHPtriad. I figured there's not much difference except PHP triad is applicable to windows systems only.
hoping for hassle free download.

Hi
My name is Floyd. I have completed a course in Internet and web design and i felt this course might help me get more insight in doing dynamic webs.
However, i am still waiting for my CD and material. Due to the postal strike everything is late. Its a bit frustrating when i see how my fellow students are already flying!
