Mac I managed to do everything required, my only problem is that the text box where I'm supposed to put in my manufacturers is giving me problems. When I try to type in my manufacturer, nothing happens and therefore I couldn't put in my products.

What have I done wrong?

Well, for starters, I go to
http://osprey.unisa.ac.za/mac/ecom/08/catalog/admin/
When I click any link on the menu, I'm taken to

site 02. Which means your config file (admin directory) is not updated to point to 8.

I went to file explorer and I replaced all the 02's in both admin/includes and catalog/includes with 08's but I still have the same problem.

How can I fix this?

I meant after you told me about the whole 02 situation I changed them to 08's. I can't see anymore 02's in my admin/includes or in my catalog/includes. Could there be another problem?

Your admin config file says the db is oscom02. AT the bottom.
