Is there any way we can get confirmation if our final assessment email has been received?

You can specify delivery and read receipt confirmations in your email client's options when you send the email, but I don't know whether this is considered a good practice or not.

All that you can do is keep your record of submission (you'll have a copy in sent items of your email client).

If they did not receive your email they will contact you on the day after the due date, you will then be required to forward your original submission to them (page 14 - tutorial letter).

thumbs upsmile

Are all you done with the final assessment? If so, how did you submit it..or do you follow the same procedures as we did with the first assessment?

Read the first paragraph on page 16 of tutorial letter 101/3/2013.

"Send the URL of your website to the relevant portfolio lecturer (xxxxxx edited out). In the subject line of your post, use CSIW1DT: Portfolio: name: student number."

I am done with everything that is required according to the tut letter, but I keep thinking of ways to change the website and add more functionality. It feels like a case of OCD.

I got this error when trying to email through my portfolio in the myLife email client

UMKN-EDG01.int.unisa.ac.za gave this error:
Recipient not authorized, your IP has been found on a block list
Your message wasn't delivered due to a permission or security issue. It may have been rejected by a moderator, the address may only accept email from certain senders, or another restriction may be preventing delivery.

not sure why my IP address has been blocked ( i sent it to prinscj@unisa.ac.za )?

thanks

Many Unisa e-mail addresses will only accept e-mail from a Unisa myLife account.
Not sure if that is the problem here.
