Case sensitivity lesson
April 30, 2013 12:43PM
Ok, I have learned an extremely important and annoying/time consuming lesson
but thought I would share, as this might spare you a little time when you get there.

My page was working as expected (not perfectly) before I uploaded it to the web,
and after the upload well, hardly anything worked.

I could not understand it and after some (hours off) tinkering I found that when changing my CSS folder to css at least the styling worked.

Why did it work local....
why not when I upload this was very frustrating.????

Turns out even though Windows does not see the difference between CsS CSS and css Linux does not see them as same folder
so this has turned out being a time consuming exercise for me.
but is a important lesson learned.

sure this will cause many headaches so get going with a naming convention and stick to it.... all the way through
