Hi,
mysql doesn't want to work, it keeps giving me the error - ERROR 2017 (HY000): Can't open named pipe to host: . pipe: MYSQL (2)
I've been trying to sort this out but I haven't managed to and the portfolio due date is getting closer and closer.
Please help!!

Have you tried to Google for a solution as this is not a common issue?

Yes I managed to sort it out, had to change things around in the my.ini file.
In chapter 11 for the ftp_connect function I dont know what to use for the ispname. No matter what I use it doesn't want to work.
Please help Mac if you can.

Every installation has its own issues, depending on a PC configuration. It is impossible to provide support, hence the suggestion to Google.

FTP has nothing to do with this portfolio, so no settings is required.
