I'm battling to get the time zone correct, the confusion is whether to make use of SERVER or (GMT+02:00) Harare, Pretoria confused smileyconfused smiley

Assignment 2 - connection to localhost is giving me an up hill sad smileysad smiley

The server gives you its timezone, then you add yours.

So in order to get the time and date today in our timezone, do we have to specify what our timezone is otherwise it will display the servers time and date?
or is my thinking incorrect? because i was thinking if i just use date("d-m-y"winking smiley its going to give me the servers date month and year?so would i have to specify my timezone to get my date month and year?

Sort of of givving the answer away if I respond.....(it remains an assignment), but your thinking is correct yes.
