This is a fantastic editor,I will use it once I complete this course.

I'm afraid if I use it now, I will become lazy using the automatic form,checkbox etc..

If you are working in windows NetBeans works great. It has a debugger also.

Hi All

Will one's portfolio be disqualified if an editor such as these is use for these course..?

Some editors can create advanced code on your behalf by point and click. For example, you select the db, the table and the fields, and it produces a listing of the table with a few click. That is not accepted.

You can use editors which helps you debug, even inserts snippets of code (e.g. a db connection). You can use classes which are freely available (e.g. a mail class to send mail).

Point is, I want to see you code most of the stuff. That is how you learn.
