Please note that you are required to submit PHP code that YOU wrote line by line. By that we mean you cannot make use of code generators or editors or PHP frameworks that creates code .

understood. Do you perhaps have an indication of a due date? I would like to take a few days leave from work to work on the Portfolio (assignment) and have to obviously submit this before hand.

Hi Mac could you please tell me about the Assignment 1 for CSDW1WS that is due on the 3rd of Sept (What is expected us from that stage, are we suppose to submit a full functional webpage (i.e that uses database). Please Help. Thank you

Section 5 page 5 of the course tutorial letter (Tutorial letter 101/3/2012) explains what is required for the assignment.

If I understand the Tut letter the only thing we are required to submit is the Portfolio (on 29th of October as Mac says). Nothing else....... *please help guys*

Correct 77517296. As per the tut letter:

BECAUSE THERE IS NO EXAM, YOU MUST IGNORE ALL COMMUNICATION (EMAILS, SMSe, AND LETTERS) FROM UNISA ABOUT EXAMS. The reason you receive such communication is that a portfolio approach does not fit within the delivery systems of Unisa. But you continue to receive communication as if it fits. All you have to concern yourself with is that you are active on the forum, and that you submit your portfolio (how exactly will be explained later). That’s all.
