LESSON 2: HOW COMPUTERS COMMUNICATE ON THE INTERNET
1. What is wrong with the IP address 221.100.155.0
Answer: It is invalid: This address refers to network class C, which means 0 represent the host and according to the IP address rules 0 must not set for host it refers to network address.
2. Is the IP address of 187.131.255.5? Why or why not?
Answer: Yes, it’s valid. Because 187.131 represent network address and 255.5 represent the host and which is all accordingly with the IP address rules.
3. Is the IP address of 121.0.0.1 valid? Why or why not?
Answer: Yes, it’s valid. Because 121.0 is the network address and 0.1 is host address which both is permitted with the IP address rules.
