They must be some gaps in it that the assignment is looking for.The prof did not make a mistake.Read in between the lines!

From my understanding, the question is to evaluate the contract. Which may not necessarily be criticising it. Explain certain clauses, identify things which you read in chapter 10.

Agree Scag,Evaluate also means you discuss what is good about the contract as well as shortcomings using the typical terms of a contract by Hughes & Cotterel as your framework.
