Shew!! that was a tough one (registering) but i eventually got it right!!

Struggling to upload my page.......I won't give up though!!!

Your code for the page above is 512 lines long because it has been written in word, which has added loads of garbage to the code. If you go to http://rowena.eu5.org/ and click on View - Source, you will see that mine is only 10 lines long. You cannot write html using a word processor. You should use notepad or Mac's suggestion, Web Matrix, which is what I am using.

Your image is not showing because it is trying to reference a file still sitting on your PC >>>>> index_files/image002.jpg.
Unless you have a folder on the server called index_files and have uploaded image002.jpg to that folder, your picture will not load.

http//www.ubonds.com I am struggeling to upload a image. Although the image now appears under my directory "images" I cannot find a way to upload it. Where am I going wrong?? It is a image extracted from "my documents" are you saying we should download. Must I created a folded with the name index_files? And from here upload the picture??

Roelof I am not sure if I am understanding you correctly but if you have a folder called index_files it means you are trying to write code in word. It doesn't work. Word automatically creates a folder for images (usually *something*_files) and adds hundreds of lines of garbage. You have to use a text editor like notepad or the one that Mac suggested in the sticky titled "New Editor" to write html.
If your image is in the folder images on the server then your code is wrong because it is trying to find the image in a folder on your PC. There are loads of posts about this on the forum.
