Well, I'm a bit confused...Question 9.3. It seems to be logically 'wrong'.

Could someone please perhaps explain the logic behind it to me?

Oh, I think I see it now.

It only holds if both P(x) and Q(x) are false.

Looks like you see it to me, if you want a poll on it. Good for you, trying to make ordinary logical sense of it first instead of trying to just jump into the symbols without full comprehension.
