Are there any tutors in Johannesburg (Bedfordview) on this new syllabus with Qt? Please contact me - I'm happy to pay

I think I'm missing some basic principles here, and I don't even know anyone who works with C++ never mind Qt. I can't even get the Chapter 1 examples in the textbook to work. From the very first interface "What kind of project are you building" I'm confused. Is this a QT C++ or a C++. I get a hundred error messages. All the help files appear to be written around the GUI applications.

This feels like Star Wars and I've started on Episode 4.

Haha. What are the errors. If you post them, maybe you will get some help. It sounds like a c++ issue. Most likely it's something to do with getting the directories setup. The Qt stuff doesn't really start till Chapter 7 so most of the stuff from the previous chapters should look similar to COS111 and COS112.
