Why write credits in the percentage box on assignments?

Why write credits in the percentage box on assignments?

I've noticed that on my marked assignment my credits are filled in the percentage box so it looks like I got 10% and not 10 credits. The same is true of other module assignments i have had marked. What is the point of the Admission credit box if nobody fills it in?
