Yes I have noticed it, on myUnisa it says the 3rd and on Tut101 it says the 1st, luckily I've submitted mine 2 days ago.

How far are you with the assignment?

smile You're right, it's great to find other students...i'm doing a semester maths module, so i got lost with time a bit and this assignment has creeped up on me. I was thinking of submitting it on monday only, and make use of the extra 2 days. I haven't even started on the assignment, i've been doing notes LOL

We must keep in touch, hopefully there's more students that will be doing this module...

I'm also doing this module. I'm so dissapointed to find out that the assignment due date was changed cos I rushed the assignment and didn't finish Question 8. If I had just one more day (today) I would have finished Question 8 before submitting. Very dissapointing.

How did you guys find assignment 1.

Hey

I emailed the lecturer and he said that he's not too strict on the due dates, even if i submit the first assignment a week late it's still OK.

Why don't you redo Q8 and then "resubmit" on myunisa? I'm sure they haven't printed it already...

Great idea; thanks Niri. Thanks for the info. Only problem is I wrote my answers out and dropped it off in the box. So I'll try Question 8 and hopefully take it to the lecturer in the week. What email address did you use to contact the lecturer?

Good luck!

I used cos407@osprey.unisa.ac.za and Osprey showed Mr Halland was online. It really helps having a lecturer that is a bit lenient to students needs...I've taken alot of modules this year so i have so many assignments due altogether in May(for the pre-req in June).

It's great to know that they are not too strict on the deadlines.

I found assignment 1 very interesting, looking forward to assignment 2. But first I need to concentrate on the other modules.

What other modules are you doing? I'm doing COS405, COS408, COS451, COS462.

I'm doing COS462 as well with you, but doing INF425,INF418, COS460 instead. I heard COS405 was very difficult, so i decided to do it next year instead LOL
