2.SUMMARY
Interact RDT is looking for a User Experience intern that will be required to work a minimum of 3 days per week over a 3 month period. This will be a paid internship which will working on various user interface design projects. Interact offers a full range of user interface design services, aimed at enhancing the usability and overall user experience across all digital touchpoints, including web, apps and any other digital interface a user may interact with.
3.COMPETENCIES
Genral competiencies and skills:
• Microsoft Office suite
• Organizational and time management skills
• Solid writing and communication skills
• Advanced tech skills, familiarity with computers, digital channels etc.
• Able to work in a team-based environment
UX specific skills:
• Genral background knowledge and understanding of user experience design
• Knowledge of UX best practices / trends
• Experience working with wireframing and prototyping software
• Experience with UI design on various digital platforms
4.RESPONSIBILITIES
For the duration of the internship the candidate will work with and under the direction of UX research consultants in the design, execution and analysis of Interacts digital projects. Key project areas include:
• Desktop research
• Digital competitor evaluations
• Usability testing
• Creating mock-ups, wireframes and high fidelity prototypes
• User task analysis
• UI Design
• Compiling design specifications
• Best practice research
5.QUALIFICATION
Must be recently graduated degree or post grad
• Any related degree
