fixed-term contract lecturers - Unisa

The School of Computing, UNISA, would like to appoint a number of fixed-term contract lecturers (40 hours per week) for 2014 on our new Florida Park campus in Johannesburg (1 April 2014 – 31 March 2015).
We are looking for applicants with master's or doctoral degrees in Computer Science or Information Systems, preferably with strong skills in programming and other technical computing areas. We could offer R 267 102 – R363 598 per annum for a full-time position (depending on you highest qualification). Contracts may be renewable for a second year depending on performance and operational needs. If you do not hear from us, you have been unsuccessful.

COS2601 Theoretical computer science
COS2621 Computer organisation
COS3751 Techniques of artificial intelligence
COS3701 Theoretical computer science
COS4851 Logic-based reasoning

The package is not lucrative at all. Considering you must have Master or PHD while a College IT Certificate can get you the same salary. So sad. sad smiley
