VB.NET INSTALLATION PROBLEM

Hi

I am looking for any advice for the below query pleas

I wanted to install the VB.NET soft-wear on my home PC
but it docent install the hole program it stops during the installation and gifs me a message

* Microsoft SQL server 2005 setup was unable to install on your computer

* Microsoft SQL server 2005 setup has encountered a problem and will end

* please tell Microsoft about this problem

I also have a problem regarding VisualBasic I cannot dowload VB 2008 edition from the internet because it stops before completing the download and the 2008 edition is needed because the 2005 express edition CD does not match all the material in the manual/textbook which was written for VB 2008. Thus how must we get to complete the assignment...

I used free download manager , you can get it @ www.freedownloadmanager.org to download vb2k8 ,it will continue where it stops
