I have requested Unisa to fix this.... it seems the system now requires a mark earlier than required.

Hey,

What did your letter say? I got one today that says "I regret to inform you that you have not qualified for admission to the examination in any of the under-mentioned study unit/s. You are referred to General Rule G 7(1)(b) in this regard."

I'm clueless as to why I've not been allowed?? Any ideas?

Hi,

I just opened a letter from them stating the same thing...cant think of any reason why i would not have qualified for admission to the exam.

Must be some sort of mistake...

I phoned the CENSE office and was told that the letter from UNISA regarding non-qualification to the exam is a mistake and was sent out in error and that I can ignore it.

It would be nice tho' if someone from the staff could get on this thread and confirm it so that we don't all end up with a panic attack!

They are busy granting admission so ignore all letters to the contrary.

And just heard it has been completed, so you will have admission.

At the risk of starting a verbal war...

the reason I did my last post - it was quite clear to me that most of the other students on the thread, myself included, where not quite clear on the link between the letter in the post from the exam office and the title of this thread - so I decided to be proactive and precipitate some form of response to clear that up.

Almost had a heart attack when i received my letter stating the same. Luckily, I read this post before phoning UNISA in a state! Thanx for clearing it all up Mac!
