Textbook

Hi

Does anyone know the details on how to go about ordering this text book? I'm still waiting for registration to go through and I am anxious to get my textbooks. I see on the link for Prescribed Books on MyUnisa, it says that we have to order this book directly from the LR Group. If anyone has the details, please could you share them with me? Most importantly, I want to find out the price!!

There are instructions on the Announcement page of the module in myUnisa for how to order. You order from www.lr-unisa.co.za/ and you need to make an account for your order.

The total for the material + postage was R522.35 (I don't know if postage varies depending on area).

I have ordered the material online but was informed that the material was not sent overseas and that I could collect it from their offices in Cape Town. Ridiculous. I am in Uganda.

I complained and they quoted me over R3000 to courier it. I asked them to look at another courier but they don't want to telling me to [somehow] organise it myself. This is most unfriendly and virtually excludes overseas students from studying this module. I am still trying to make a plan to get it here more cheaply but it is proving very difficult. The bookshops manage to despatch my books for a few hundred Rand. Somebody should do something about this.

how do u get their banking details. when I go into the site it just states that my order was placed and that they are waiting for payment. Am I missing something?

Had the same problem, they suggested that I contact the courier directly and make arrangements with the courier to collect and send. Try postnet...?? If any UNISA person is reading, suggest that you look at giving an option to international students to courier text books with the study guides, etc?

This is no good at all. Why can't they mail the material internationally?? UNISA should find solution to this problem ASAP. I suggest UNISA buys the material from this RSA-nationally limited LR Group and charges each student enrolling for this module a total of module tuition fee plus the material.

That is all and save us from this inconvenience. Please, please I beg you UNISA.

are they using the textbook from last year? the masterskill student manual? im a writing sup on wednesday next week, and ill be selling the manual + cd for R150...provided i pass...if anybody is interested if i have all thestudy material from last year...
