Q 4, regarding the Subject and subject related tables, what will qualify as their primary key? will it not be the same?

Subject |  SubjectCode, Subject-description, level, prerequisite......
Student-Subject | SubjectCode, StudentNo, A1mark, A2mark, Ymark, ......
Subject-Course |  SubjectCode, Course-code,..... ?
Lecturer | lecture-ID,last-name, first-name,.....
Course | course-code, description, max......
Student | Student-No, last name, first......

I think that that firstly the code for this module's forum needs to be updated for more people to monitor this forum...

And hey, at least you've started the assignment, I am only now picking up the book, I've had issues with other modules, and I still have another programming one for the 1st which I haven't started yet. Good Luck to me...

Can't wait until I've submitted this assignment, it's getting to me now :/

For Question 5 - It looks normalized in 3NF already, don't we just have to add the the Primary and Foreign keys?
Or am I looking at it wrong?
Also, for Question 4 - What extra tables and attributes should we be adding to current layout(Step 4)?

Any ideas? Nothing is coming to me.

tackle your assignments to understand the basics.
get an A3 paper or whatever, that's big enough.
separate the diagrams as per the respective module and you'll understand the two modules better.

create a bigger picture first, then break it down into small chuncks so you can see where what fits.
A very interesting and enjoyable module if you may, just know your diagrams. The theory will be easier to comprehend.
