yeah why don't we get new prescribe books for this module i mean technology has changed alot since 1980 till today?

The thing is we need not understand the principles of "new technology", but rather the underlying principles of user interaction - with anything! If we try to approach design with just a "new-age, super-cool, hyperfast technolgy" mind set, we will mis small but important concepts in design...thus the old book. A very good book on user interaction and design.
