Did you guys notice this in Tut104?

"Take note that there is no word processing file to submit. If
there is additional information that you feel the lecturer needs to take note of, please include
a readme.txt file in the .zip file."

So what about the class diagram?

I'm still going to go by the marking notes in the 103 tut letter where 10 marks are going to the class diagram.

Hi, there is a word processing link, if you copy and paste your code and the class diagram into word, you can upload using the Word Processing doc Version -2003

Hi , the exam date changed from 19/11/2010 to 22/10 - it basically moved closer by one month!

I don't think that is what the lecturers wanted, they specifically requested a zip file with all the code files required to build the project. I just included a pdf of my class diagram in the zip file.

How did you people get to submit? I followed all the instructions and submitted only *.cpp, *.h, *.pro, *.txt files and a pdf with question 1 (uml). I got reply back from assignments - cancelled bcos TOO MANY PAGES TO PRINT! I forwarded to the lecturer who apologized, but it's still canceled. Still no answer from him. I must have spent close to 100 hours on this! And it does run well.

@vanzyl Yes this is really sad, considering the amount of time you spend on it!
Have you heard anything from the lecturer? I send an e-mail this afternoon and
got a reply within 10 minutessmiling smiley

@yesh I'm starting tonight with my exam preparation and will create a thread where we can all
help each other.smiling smiley

the text book is not helping me much as I really cant get to grips with understanding some of the work!
im working as well and that doesnt help! I just started reading all the chapters again, but im not getting some concepts as the examples are difficult! sad smiley not much time till the exam too. what do you suggest? last years exam paper looks really difficult@! did u see that? and only 2 hours..ok what do u think is a good starting point or basis for me - i am really not good at C++. but i started going through all the chapters again to get a feel of the concepts - hope this helps!

What I gather from the previous 2 years' forums, is that you must practice, practice, practice.....

Good luck!

Thanks CountZero. with studying at Unisa, I learnt if you cannot make head or tail of something, just keep reading it over and over again, and eventually it starts becoming clearer! smiling smiley Good luck to you and God Bless you for trying to help us! Is this your final year module?
