Exemption

Guys I made such a blander it's embarrassing. I thought all first level modules were semesterized only to discover that this course isn't i'm now at a dead end because I'm supposed to be completing my under grad this semester.Had I know I would have registered in Jan. What's stressing me is that my employer expects me to finish this year as I had promised to get on with my honours. Could there be a substitute course or some sort of exemption. I've done almost all COS modules. Help I can't sit an additional year,please some body.!

Last year this course was called CEM101 (Computing for Retards) and was the ICDL course. Since you can get an exception from this course (according to the calender) with an ICDL you just do the ICDL somewhere (look on http://www.icdl.org.za) before the end of the year and apply for excemption.

I am in the exact same situation. Have you gone the ICDL route as yet?
