APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FOR APPOINTMENT AS POST GRADUATE STUDENT ASSISTANTS.
Applicants are required to submit a full CV, indicating to what extent their qualifications, abilities and experience meet the requirements of the post as set out below.
Requirements:
Any B degree (BSc, BCom or BTech) in IT or related field (IS, CS, ICT) or higher degree
An average pass mark of 60 %;
Applicants must be registered for a post graduate qualification at Unisa.
Duties:
The incumbent shall be required under the supervision of a (or) designated supervisor(s) to perform a variety of tasks, which shall include:
Assisting with appropriate tuition functions including practicals, laboratory work and demonstrations;
Assisting the designated lecturer(s) with administrative duties relating to research and general assistance as required;
Assisting with general departmental administrative work;
Participating in appropriate research activities.
In certain cases, providing technological assistance, for example, facilitating in the usability laboratory.
