Java Developers

Established Cape Town (Southern Suburbs) company requires developers (1 senior and 1 junior) to join their expanding team.

REQUIREMENTS:
Formal Tertiary qualification (Preferably Computer Science or Electrical Engineering)
At least 2 years development experience with some/all of the following technologies :
Java: J2SE, J2EE (esp. JSP, JDBC), ant, soap libraries
SQL database: PostgresSQL NB, Oracle/Sybase
Linux: software development using above technologies on linux
Unix scripting (bash) for task automation.
Web development, using the Spring framework, on top of tomcat or similar web server.
Proactive, able to work both independently and as part of a team

NICE TO HAVE:
Embedded C development on Linux, incl smart card interaction, crypto
Business process analysis
Technical system analysis
Testing, training, maintenance and support of/for a package or solution
Managing and maintaining internal/external business relationships
Technical and user-guide documentation
Research into any of the tasks and responsibilities listed above

SALARY : negotiable, competitive based on skills and experience
LOCATION : Western Cape, Southern Suburbs

Why the >2 yrs requirement? Why do you not contribute to the Java ecosystem, instead of poaching other employers' talent? If you had a junior dev with 2 yrs exp, I'd call him a retard tongue sticking out smiley
