My ISP doesn't do web hosting. However, I'd like to publish my site. Who would you recommend I contact for web hosting services?

I took some time to look through the yellow pages in my area and once i got addresses and numbers to start me off.
maybe the same could be helpful to you

I never had a web page out before, so I would like to ask if it is correct to assume the registration of this page comes aftre/ before/or when you find a host?

It is better to use the same isp who does the hosting to register the name - it can be both - i.e. first register the name then host the pages for the name or vice versa

dude host the site on your own via linux operating system or any Unix flavour contact me on 072 1118 704 e-mail 45817995@mylife.unisa.ac.za
you can start with a small server that limits users and upgrade as time goes on bt if your site involves business(real moola)
then i am sure we can reach some kind of partnership and share tasks
