October 26, 2009 04:05PM
Well, it was easier than I was expecting & easier compared to previous year's exams considering the forum comments I read.

It was good, a nice all round balance of what they told us to study. I get so happy when theres no controversy!

It puts the spirit at ease instead of stressing...

Chat to you all in a week or so when we get close to the next INF's!

Goog luck with the mangement subjects, they are a lot easier at least!

All in all I think it was pretty fair.

Was it just me, or were some of the mark allocations a bit unbalanced. Like Q1.2 asked for the a list of the process model for 5 marks, and then the question about the requirements engineering tasks were 7 marks for substantially more work...or am I missing something? smiling smiley

I also think that it was a fair paper.
But I must agree with pruthven on the mark allocations...
1 down 6 to go.

Re: Post Exam

I would say that pretty much all of the multiple choice questions came out of the assignments, or the multiple choice section on the publisher's website.

There was the waterfall model, 12 principles of agile, 7 principles of RE, Top down integration, Guidelines for quality - can't remember what the order was or if this is all of them sad smiley I think Q3 was the 7 principles
Re: Post Exam

Qn 3 was the 'HOw to Solve It' four practises qn...8 marks

I agree ..compared to the paper i wrote last year ..this one doesn't get a red ticket from me.
I couldn't even remember the phases of the waterfall / classical life cycle model ... lol !!!
AND struggled to put my finger on those 10 out 12 Agility principles ...anyway ..
Good luck with the rest of your exams guys and gals !!
