I'm having problems installing the ActiveTcl program from the utils/tcl directory on the 2006 cdrom. The program seems to install correctly, but when I look in the C:\tcl directory I can't find any installer file or "install.sh" script. No other file seems to launch it. Please help!

I remeber that I had similar problems - before attempting the installation, copy the whole installation file to the hard disk and then install from there. I think it tries to write to the installation file somewehere and it cant do it on the cd hence the problem.

I am confused. You say that after installing there is a c:\tcl directory. Is there anything in it? There is no need for an install.sh script to be there - you should say subdirectories like bin, lib, include etc.
If so the installion is complete. If not, that is very starnge, but maybe attempt Marius' suggestion.
