I was just wandering what software and/or language everybody else is using, when doing the practical part of this module!
Anybody try implementing any of these methods using C++?

I use python -- it's more suited for this kind of thing. Download the source of my app covering chapter 1 at http://zahirj.wordpress.com With enough time I can expand and probably finish the rest of the chapters.
