Welcome note

Dear Students,

Welcome to the CO113 forum. We hope you enjoy the module, and we encourage you to use this forum effectively.

Please use this forum to discuss problems you might encounter with the academic aspects of COS113. The idea of the forum is to use it in the same way students at contact universities use their study groups / peer groups. We will not interfere with any discussion thread, as long as the discussion is conducted in a civil way. We will monitor the forum on a regular basis. If the discussion goes in the wrong direction, or if no solution to a problem can be found, we will give a slight nudge to point the group in the right direction. Remember, this is your (the student body) discussion forum!

Ask as many questions as you want on this forum. Remember that there are no "stupid questions"! Some other student might be struggling with the same problem. And there might be a few students who are willing to share their solutions with you.

If you specifically want to a lecturer to respond to a query, rather send an email to the module e-mail address, or phone one of the lecturers.

Best Regards,

Daphne Becker and Sam Ssemugabi

The solutions of the first semester will not be supplied to the second semester students. It is not part of the study material scheduled for second semester students.
