Assignment date change?

MyUNISA assignment submission shows the due date of assignment one as 15 April. Does anyone know if this is an official date change or a mistake?

Also noted that on myunisa assignment section it shows that the due date is 15/04 but on the tutorial letter we received upon registering it show 05/04 as the due date.

Can anyone please confirm the correct date for us?

I have just received an e-mail from Unisa stating that we should use the due date of 5 April as reflected in the TL for the submission of assignment 1.

Note that the due date for assignment 1 is 05/04.

NOW, as can be seen from above Paddo had made this post on March 27, 2006. Why was the due date on SOL note changed to 05 April 2006??? I have been reading the INF206D book as I did this module last year. I KNOW what work has to be studied. I begin my assignment yesterday and to my utter disgust notice the due date of 05 April 2006?

Why was I not sent an email from SOL stating that the due date on SOL was incorrect? Why has it not been changed? Seeing that assignment 1 is compulsory, this is a total f#$% up from UNISA's side. If my assignment is not accepted and it means that I have to do INF206D next year, this will cost me 1 year. I will take serious steps if I am done out of marks.

UNISA's correspondence has been awful this year. It is now affecting the students.

Always take the Tut101 as law unless replaced by another tut letter. You can't trust myUNISA

Just wanted to set the record straight. Unisa gives an automatic extension (due to unforeseen circumstances) for some year modules. Thus the actual due date is the 5th of April, yet they will accept it until the 15th of April.

Pls note this is only with some of the year modules, thus stick to the tut letters as base, and only use the extension date as a last resort.
