I'm struggling with this module and was wondering what advice anyone could give me on how to go about studying and understanding the work.

I'm coming to a point where i'm starting to wonder if it wouldn't be better to drop the module, but I do not like the thought of giving up.

So any advice would really be appreciated.

I'm doing it again as well
If I just stopped sulking earlier, then I would have noticed that the later work is very similar to COS351, and might have passed my exam

Actually COS351 covered material in a ton of courses. COS351 made learning both 407 and 451 significantly easier.

hi, what was the title of the MIT courseware you were using? that link doesn't work anymore....

This is a tough course from what I see, however, you need to try and apply logic to the course, it took me a few weeks just to understand the asymptotic orders and how is relates to computer algorithms, keep at it, if you need any assistance I can try and help, drop me an email.
