last Hons exam for the year

am i the only one glad that we've got a few days to study for this one (after inf431)
INF431 didnt leave me much time for INF425
the 26th is the last day of exams for Feb, and were writing this until 5pm, so its the last exam and we'll prob have to wait a bit longer for the result (if they release it as it becomes available).

im stressing about this one.
there is a lot of work to cover.

anyone else stressing? how's the revision going?

Yup, also concerned with the time I have left and the brain fatigue factor.

I am back at work today but will be back in front of the books tonight again. At least I have tomorrow and Friday to study, and have managed to go through the assignments last week.

same here, back at work for today, and off for thursday & friday
gonna be little sleep in this time.
i still need to work through assignment 2 again tonight. bioplus big time

425 is going to chew the last energy out of me too.

431 is lekker easy though - even though I did work hard on it - so I am happy.

if we could only get our hands on a previous 425 exam or get a previous students advice on the exam....
i bet they cant ask too many different questions on the 425 exam

My 2c:

An activity on arrow diagram - plus ES,EF,LS,LF,Float - 15 marks or so

Risk handling, including something along the lines of Risk reward as per the article - 15 marks

CMM - definite, 10 - 12 marks

Some calcs with Net Profit, ROI, z values etc. DO learn that variance is the square of the SD, and how to add the SDs on a path to get event SD - 10 marks or so

Something with RFPs ISO 12207 - along with contract types - not sure how many marks here as they can ask short questions or long

ISO9126 qualities - marks? same as for 12207

A mark or two on PRINCE2

10 marks or so as a "freebie" for matching the names in chapter 11. Belbin = suitability/eligibility etc. Learn these, and score a nice quick 10 marks in my opinion.

The rest will be a mish-mash of stuff from other chapters not included above. Simple 3,4,5 marks. Those that did this book in 3rd year are ahead, since 3rd year covered chapters 1-9 in detail.


Will see on Friday how clear my crystal ball is!

chose the verner et all question 1, forgot one or two marks there
