Has anyone started yet?
January 07, 2009 05:52PM
I finally opened one of my text books today and read chapter 1. Last year I was raring to go before Christmas, this year it's a real struggle. I'm hoping I feel more enthusiastic once I start.

And its not just studying - my energy levels are rock bottom.

I haven't received tut's + study material from Unisa yet. I'll only purchase my textbooks next week. Anyway - just to busy at work to worry about studies just yet.

wow, you guys are hardcore! i have yet to register tongue sticking out smiley

but yeah, beginning of the year is actually most important part for me; i'll generally study most of the year's worth when i get my books (diagonally reading chapters and sizing them up), then only do the important assignments later in the year, brush up a bit for the exam, get 50% and hey, that's that.

ps. damn malcolm you've got quite an anti-crusade going on here eh tongue sticking out smiley

Putting up with all the religious crap of the Christmas period tends to make me this way at the start of every new year tongue sticking out smiley
To top it off I was forced into sitting through a baby torturing ritual(Christening) recently for my niece so I have to be especially anti now winking smiley

Great the forum finally supports proper horizontal rules.

I am bookhunting now.

Stay away from Kalahari.net. Rip offs!

They want over R2020 for Cohen, which I can get at Van Schaik for about R460. What's up with them?

Anybody have a PDF of Jia since it is not available anymore, except for a reprint of some chapters from UNISA?

It sucks to be back @ work.

JIA -> Object-Oriented Software Development Using Java, Author = Xiaoping Jia.
It's the prescribed book for COS214 - and a really crap book at that.
