Hacking tools and techniques:

smile	Nmap:
It is used to scan through large networks, to identify dozens of
             characteristics of hosts.

smile	John the Ripper:
This is a tool used to crack passwords.

smile	Yersinia:
This tool is designed to take advantage of some weakness in
             different layer 2 protocols.

smile	AirTraf.

smile	Kismet.

How to prevent these techniques:

smile	First of all there should be an organisation against hackers and
crackers. They should develop tools which could work against the tools
         of hackers.
smile	Websites containing information about how to hack should be banned
         from the World Wide Web.

Is it good that instructions are freely available?

smile	No.
smile	As mentioned above, websites containing information about how to hack
should be banned from the internet.
smile	There are a lot of people with to much time on their hands, that
almost make it there living to hack. If these websites which contain
the information are banned, then there would be fewer hackers.

Should network administrators monitor hacker sites?

smile	Yes.
smile	If they monitor these sites, less information would be passed on to
other hackers. Still, I think these websites should be banned from the
         internet.
