I really hope you do some price searching, Mr Harding. I got mine brand new for quite a reasonable price.

Anybody who buys from Kalahari is a complete idiot. Stick to Amazon - even with the import tax, it's much cheaper

Dude, you rather wait for the Tut101 letter for next year. You wouldnt want to buy a book now only to find out later that they found "something better". And just for the record: I've bought all my books from Kalahari.net this year! If i remember correctly the Jia book cost about R330. The reason they mention the current cost as R1000 is probably because they dont have any stock and will need to import it- but when there is a demand for it the price drops significantly. Had I bought my textbooks through Amazon.com I would have paid R500-R600 more (on the cheapest prices!). So my advice is, search SA shops and portals first before going to Amazon and eBay

In my experiance so far, I've found that the cheapest prices for UNISA textbooks
has been Armstrongs. I think I payed about R270 for the Jia textbook whe I bought it earlier this year

Last and this year i shopped around for prices and found Provision Books (Ordinance Road) in Durban to be the cheapest - cheaper than all bookstores recommended by unisa.
