unable to load c:\mysql\bin\libmysql.dll

I am the following error: unable to load c:\mysql\bin\libmysql.dll
when setting the SQL connection (dbExpress tab) connected to True. Can someone help me.

did you install mysql in the c:\mysql\ directory? Also which version did you install?

I installed in C:\mysql. I used mysqlcc-0.9.4-win32 to install.

that is only the control centre.

you also have to install mysql-3.23.58-win

I also had this problem. The problem was I had isntalled the 4.xxx version instead of the 3.xxx version of mysql which is meant for delphi 2007.

To uninstall: right click the traffic light task bar icon, select "stop the service". Then do it again to "shutdown this tool". Now just delete the old folder and install the 3.xxx version of mysql.
