hi everyone

this may sound little funny i just havent been concentrating on my studies due to personel problems i have been dealing with as things havent been going right for me but when is the due date for the prac?

the due date for the prac is the 9th of november.

my pc just crashed on me at home and i cant find my PHP 2007 cd anywhere to reinstall it is there anyone that can help me please confused smiley

i dont use the sooftware on the CD. i use wamp5

it works awesome! it has php5, apachie, mysql. maybe download that...

just a thought smiling smiley

Hi Mac

I have been playing around with smarty templates (smarty.php.net).

I would like to find out if we may use them in our project.

Also, if we don't use everything we have learned in our project, will we be penalized?

The reason why I ask this is because as awesome as the "extract" is, i would prefer not to use it.

Are we also allowed to use other things like controllers?

Hi Mac / fellow students

Project is almost complete. Just have a few questions:

1. I just want to confirm if we should use a primary key in the course_student table or not?

2.I am presently hard coding the year into the course_student table. Is this ok or must I find a way to insert the year as a variable?

3.Are we allowed to google search PHP sites & forums for help on certain aspects of the project?

Not Smarty.... no. Other than that, you can add what you want, and do what you want.
Primary key yes.
Hard-code year is fine - for purposes of this course
Google as much as you want - just don't use rent-a-coder smiling smiley
