Exam admission
September 06, 2007 07:50AM
Does anyone know when we get to know if we have been admitted to the exam or not. All I get is Preliminary Timetable on my Unisa and I cannot take it anymore. If it says "Preliminary" does it mean that I am in??

This has been discussed several times already, for one, there's another thread below titled "Exam admission and 100 credits"

yes.. you have exam admission if you have 100 credits or if you have handed in all your assignments or the one magic assignment if you got the letter that says that is all it takes. Undergrads will only get a proper time table after 15 september but 99 out of 100 times it is identical to the preliminary one. And if you are postgrad, you get to wait until december.

That is the conclusion. End of story.

According to the Tut301's, final examination admission is determined during 15 -31 August for undergratuate students - page 14.
Also, my.unisa is offline/being upgraded - might be that they are upgrading the exam admission stuff....

relax people, unti l15 sept you won't get ANYTHING. even if you phone unisa they will tell you to wait till then.

Listen to the old granny who has been around the undergrad block too many times to even remember!
