Hi,

I am strugling with Delphi 6 too.

I got that the password or username is not recognised.

Saw the message from millemg but the dll is not to be found in mysql or Delpi or any other directory .

Has anubody got the database going on Delphi 6?

yanga,
I see the file dbexpmysql.dll is under my delphi6\bin directory. Do you have it for delpi 7 as well?

That is actually the only dll file starting with db on my computer.

Hi Yanga

Im also working in Delphi 7 and the 'dbexpmysql.dll' is in the bins folder C:\Program Files\Borland\Delphi7\Bin. Check to see if it is there, if it is then you need to check that delhi is looking in that folder by going to Tools|Environment options then click on the library palette..click on the square/ellipse next to the Library path field this will open up the directories window, scroll through the 'Ordered list of library paths' and make sure that you find something along the lines of '$(DELPHI)\Lib'. If you do not find this path then you need to add it. There is an ellipse/square next to the field below 'Greyed items denote invalid path' (ignore whatever is actually displayed in this field) click on it and navigate to the delphi bin directory and click OK. This will add the path.

Good Luck...hope this helps
