Network+ cert

For interest sake, do we get a network+ cert, as we did cem101 (icdl) or are we just using the content for this module, and should use a prometric testing for international certification?

The pass rate for N+ is 80 or 90 %
The pass rate for INF306 is 50%, don't think you can be awarded the same cert on different standards.

So thats a no then.

Good point. Must be a differnce in pass percentage, although does that mean that students who get over 80% recieve a cert, smile

Very interesting remark about the N+ certificate.

My question is directed at the lecturers.

I am considering taking this module next year but I already hold a N+ certificate. Does this offer me an exemption?

I also think, it has to do with the expense of the prometric testing, which are around R600 at the testing center, that might make it cost prohibitive.

I'm not sure about the exemption, one would think so, ask the lecturers....
