Allocation of marks for exam
August 22, 2007 02:31PM
Hi guys,

Does anyone know the allocation of marks for the two exam sections, namely multiple choice questions and written questions?

I'm wondering how many marks each section will count.

Thanks and good luck with your studies!

If it will stil same like last year should be MCQ 30% and WQ 70%.

Thanks very much Nancy. I must admit, I would have preferred it the other way round, MCQ 70% and WQ 30%! smile

I'm busy with Chapter 11 and I'm battling with the Software Design stuff! The companies where I've worked have often used the Analysis process, principles, diagrams, etc., but once it gets to design, most professional software engineers I've come accross seem to just jump straight in. So the design stuff is all new to me.

Anyways, vasbyt,

Yeah, Marina, I also wish more MCQ thumbs up smiley. I just finish reading all the charpters and now start with the exam preparation...

Don't forget the Tutorial letter 501 has been replaced by the 103. I have the feeling that it will be the place where most of the WQs come from.

Good luck!

For the November examination 70 marks will be longer questions and 30 multiple choice.
