effective branching factor, exam revision
September 13, 2007 05:12PM
Im busy revising for the exam (if anyone else wants to touch base feel free to email me).

Chapter 4, page 106
"For example, if A* finds a solution at depth 5 using 52 nodes, then the effective branching factor is 1.92"

How do you do this calculation? Do you think it is needed for the exam?

Without a previous years exam paper to work from I feel very unsure what to focus on and what to go through briefly.

Regards
Laurence
