Assignment 2 Q4 not sure about the question

for this 2 part question we are asked to find the CFG then apply the correct theorem from chapter 17. Does this mean we have to say which theorem applied? It seems a bit pointless because we are not joining up 2 separate languages using union products or *, so are we meant to say what they could have been made up of , ie split them up?

I stated what theorem I used, and showed the result if you used it / applied it.
