Assignments count 10% of final mark True?

*You will receive a percentage mark for every assignment that you submit. The marks that you obtain for assignments 1, 2, 3 and 4 will contribute to a year mark that will form 10% of your final mark for COS301-Y. The examination mark will form 90% of the final mark. (However, if you should write the supplementary examination in January, the year mark will not count.) The weights for the four assignments are equal.


Is this true, i never read it anywhere???

I received a similar notice for INF303. But not one for COS301.

From what i hear, all subjects are like this.....

But i'm yet to confirm this...will find out more info
