This topic was interesting to read, especially the part of a student hiring someone to do their project. Dumb-struck!eye popping smileyLink

I enjoyed doing this project, I thought it was going to be simple - but when you start adding more functionality, you really need to keep track of all the dependencies, one simple change can have a domino effect - sessions really did my head in. Some of the more common expletives were expressed in frustration when things did not work outgrinning smiley. I endured almost 3 sleepless nights (as I'm sure many others have too) just trying to get to all the debugging out of the way - but it was still fun. I must say echoing output and variable values was just priceless! I've learnt, a computer only does what you tell it to do - even if it seems like it has a mind of its own.... or does it?spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

I hope we all don't have to wait too long for the verdictthumbs upthumbs upthumbs upsmile

Clintw!

You typed the words right out of my fingers...

I also enjoyed it. I really learned a lot.

When do we get the verdict??? waiting for it can be torture.

Hi

I had e-mailing issues. The e-mail address that I used was incorrect. I don't have an internet connection at home so I have to use alternative means to check my emails.

The mail I sent to Mac was returned to my gmail account and only picked this up yesterday...it was sent through on the 9th!!!!

but thanks for your concern...

Is Unisa part of the strike action?smile

Things have been very quiet on the forum after the project due date. Has anyone received any indication that their project was received, or when results could be expected? Just wonderingtongue sticking out smiley
